Call Of Duty Vanguard: Everything We Know So Far

The next installment in the Call of duty series is coming on 5th November 2021.

Activision and Call of Duty have a reputation of releasing a new game every year and, 2021 is not going to be the year for them to take a break. Even with everything that has been going on at Activision. The newest installment in the widely loved Call of Duty series is going to be called Vanguard. Developed by Sledgehammer Games, Vanguard will once again put players into a World War II setting.

Vanguard will have a campaign, a multiplayer mode, and a zombie mode. The campaign will be a character-based experience centered around four characters from a special forces unit sent to Germany. All of the four main characters are based on real-life heroes from WWII. World War II campaigns have always been a favorite of the fans but, Call of Duty WWII’s failure back in 2018 has made fans unsure of what to expect.

Campaigns have always been a big part of the Call of Duty franchise but not as big as Multiplayer. Vanguard’s multiplayer will bring all the excitement that you’ll expect from a Call of duty game. A variety of maps and the gunsmith feature from the previous two Call of Duty games will return. On top of that, Vanguard will offer a new combat pacing option. This decision will allow players to choose from three different combat pacing options, with each of them offering a different experience for the player. Vanguard will also have destructible environments in the Multiplayer mode.

The Zombie mode for Call of Duty Vanguard will be developed by Treyarch. With Sledgehammer games focusing on Campaign and Multiplayer. There will also be a new map for Warzone. Along with a new anti-cheat system to reduce the swarm of cheaters in the game.

Even with these new additions to the game, fans are still very skeptical of Vanguard. Some people think that Call of duty needs a break. And some people think the developers need to do something different. Both of these are very valid opinions. And with Battlefield 2042 set for a release later this year as well, this might not be a good year for Call of duty.

Call Of Duty Vanguard will release on 5th November. On PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. With a playable alpha starting from 27th August.
