Zong is one of the leading telecom brands serving in Pakistan since 2008. They have recently passed the PTA’s QoS surveys for the assurance of quality given to the customers. That survey was conducted for the first quarter of 2021.
“The Zong Company shows the high result on all the aspects of mobile coverage, SMS and voice services and also mobile broadband whether it is 3G or 4G.”
That survey measures the mobile coverage services, SMS services, mobile Broadband 3G/4G, call connection time, Call completion, signal strength, end to end speech quality, etc. They measure these services in major cities of Pakistan.
“PTA has conducted the QoS surveys in thirteen major cities of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab.” That survey covers the performance and service quality of mobile companies working in Pakistan.
PTA Conducted QoS in Major Cities:
Zong covered first place in mobile network coverage while the second position keeps by Jazz and Telenor, and the third position was secured by Ufone. Also, in the voice segment, the first position hold by Zong and also in providing 4G services, Zong leads the list. Zong also takes the lead in providing SMS services all over Pakistan.
PTA Conducted QoS in Highways:
Now, measure the performance and quality of service of the CMOS (Cellular Mobile Operators). They have surveyed sixteen different highways/motorways of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh.
The Zong Company leads in all aspects including, mobile coverage, mobile data broadband, voice messages, and SMS services. The other companies like Telenor, Jazz, and Ufone come in second and third, and fourth place.
PTA Conducted QoS in Small Towns:
Now, to also know about the quality of service in smaller towns of Pakistan. The QoS also conducted by PTA in eight small towns of Pakistan includes Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. That is necessary to do to know about the small towns that also get the same services of networks as big cities.
In mobile coverage, data broadband 3G/4G, voice and SMS services in most of them Zong leads the position and leaves others behind in providing quality services to the small towns.
