This Monday, April 11th, was when Arslan Ash Siddique was declared the champion of the World Ultimate Fight League E-Gaming Finals. He reigned winner in the Tekken 7 category against fellow Pakistani competitor Awais Honey, winning 5:2. His winnings were the grand prize of $15 000, Awais Honey winning $10 000 in second place and third place JDCR winning $8 000.
The 25-year old player had to compete against 120 other players to earn his title, winning not only for himself, but retaining Pakistan’s position as one of the top E-gaming countries, and a dominating presence in all E-gaming competitions. Arslan Ash expressed gratitude towards his friends and family in a tweet.
This win, however, is only one in many for Arslan Ash. Before this, he was well-known for his plays in The King of Fighters competition. His name reached the international ear when he played exceptionally in the 2018 OUG Tournament, beating legendary player ‘Knee’ with no losses on his part.
His name finally became a hot topic in 2019, when he unexpectedly won the EVO Japan 19. He defeated a handful of well-known players such as Chanel, Book, LowHigh, Jimmyjtran, and once again Knee. He played in EVO USA 19, winning once again which makes him the first player to win both of these competitions in the same year. He was declared the best e-player of 2019 after his phenomenal performances.
Arslan Ash had signed with flash eSports on the 27th of July 2018 to be a part of their team until early 2021. He had also signed with Red Bull eSports on the 12th of November 2019 to be one of their sponsored Tekken players.
Arslan Ash is also the only Pakistani player to have four consecutive major e-gaming title wins at competitions, solidifying his name as one of the greatest players.
What he has in store for future competitions is for all to see, a prodigy steadily making his way up the ranks to be the best player out there.
