Last week at Bengaluru, at Aero India an exhibition of aviation was held at which Bharat Dynamics Limited had the opportunity to display their newest weaponry. The Chief Air Marshal of India, Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauri was the one to garner attention at Bharat Dynamics Limited’s stall by inaugurating it.
A briefing about the products at display was provided by the retired commodore, Siddharth Mishra. They showed a large number of products, more than what they have shown ever before in this particular exhibition at Aero India 2021.
There were many ranges of missiles at the display. Guided, launchers, surface and air missiles were just some of the products at the showcase.
Many memorandums of understanding have been passed by Bharat Dynamics Ltd with Indian companies. Not only that it passed MoUs with foreign companies that were present at Aero India 2021 and were able to see a range of the products at the aviation.
Garudastra and Dishani are two of the weapons that are specific for underwater operations. Bharat Dynamics would be displaying these two later on in the event.
Siddharth Mishra was stated how Bharat Dynamics has multiple aims. It is readily forming alliances with foreign companies as well as local. It is also ensuring that start-up companies are encouraged to be a part of its innovative programs to grow and develop new products alongside.
He also stated how Aero India 2021 was a good opportunity for them to display these weapons and it also enabled companies to interact with each other and reach agreements.
