New images and video claiming to show an Apple Watch prototype, hidden by a security case, offers a rare look at the product to be brought forth by the secretive company.
A few months ago in a video on Twitter by user Apple Demo, provides a first look at the device turned on and working on Apple’s internal development apps on a pre-watchOS 1.0 software.
The video starts by teasing what appears to be the original cardboard packaging utilized to deliver the prototype hardware.
The label on the packaging reads that the product is classified as Apple Confidential and is designated based on an ‘Ultra’ security program and is moreover a prototype which MUST be returned when recalled.
A sticker is present on the back of the prototype device showing a “PVTe” configuration, which tends to mean Production Validation Testing (engineering), previously seen in the language of prior Apple development hardware
When the touchscreen system is turned on, it can be seen that it’s customized to point out Apple’s inside apps.
However, there is no Digital Crown present for navigation. Although as alternative buttons alongside the correct prospect of the case can be used for residence and energy.
