With the onset of the global pandemic this year, online platforms have been filled with professionals and amateurs alike. People have tried to make the most of the resources available to them online which helped them to replicate the loss of opportunities on the field as the pandemic forced us to be stuck at homes. It is because of this that a lot of growth and surges in different spaces online has been seen in developing countries. Pakistan is one of them.
A lot of software developers joined GitHub this year. GitHub is an online platform that provides its code online to millions of users that can in turn contribute and develop it further. According to the report released by Github, Pakistan ranked 6th in the software developers of GitHub.
