‘Self-deleting messages’ feature all set to be launched by Whatsapp

Whatsapp; a globally known online user connecting application is all set to launch ‘self-deleting messages’ that will disappear in 7 days.

They have started testing it on a small group of people for now and, as stated by one of the representatives of WhatsApp, it will soon be available worldwide.

This feature will help users to choose the messages they would like to disappear in 7 days for individual conversations and admins will be able to turn this feature on for group chats.

However, it can be seen as cloning of Snapchat which already uses a similar feature, and thus Facebook, which owns WhatsApp, is getting criticized.

We cannot say as for now how this feature will be appraised by the users and for that, we will have to wait for the launch.
