The demise of a giant: Samsung’s chairman dies at 78, leaving behind $21 billion.

Lee Kun-Hee (9 January 1942 – 25 October 2020), born and raised in South Korea, was a businessman who served as a Chair Person from 1987 to 2008 and 2010 to 2020 of the Samsung Group. Samsung group has credited him for the development there have been in the organization over the years as when he took over the business, following the death of his father in 1987, it was nothing more than just a small business manufacturing electronics. Today, Samsung has marked itself as the biggest selling smartphone brand; all under the magnificent reign of Mr. Lee.

According to Forbes, Mr. Lee left the world with an evaluated net worth of US$21 billion as the wealthiest individual in South Korea. It is stated that Mr. Lee died beside his family on Sunday in Samsung medical center, Korea, whereas no news about the cause of death is yet told. A terrible loss dealt with Samsung.
